The Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy sets out a 20-year vision that is being turned into action, with residents and service providers playing a full part in influencing the priorities and putting the plans into practice.
The aim of Neighbourhood Renewal is that no one should be disadvantaged by where they live.
The strategy itself outlines the challenges we face, where we wish to be and how we believe this can be achieved. Neighbourhood Renewal is about funding areas of activity with a focus on priorities as set out in the Local Area Agreement (LAA).
A team based within the Council manage delivery of the programme.
